Chamber to Participate in City vs Town Study Committee |

Fishers’ form of government is an important issue facing the community, and therefore the Fishers Chamber of Commerce (FCoC) places great value on the important work which will go into the research and education on this topic. The FCoC accepted the offer to join the Town-initiated study group after confirming that it will be an objective gathering of the factual and persuasive arguments in favor of both forms of local government, which will then be shared with the community at large. Our mission in this initiative is to participate specifically on behalf of the business community, both in providing insight to the study group, and in communicating information back to our membership. FCoC has an allocation of 8 seats on the City versus Town Study Committee, and we are seeking interested members.
