Hamilton County Chambers to Offer Group Medical Insurance Product
Hamilton County, Ind. In response to the challenge businesses continue to face to provide affordable group health insurance to their employees, all six Chambers of Commerce in
Hamilton
County
have partnered with ADVANTAGE Health Solutions, Inc. to develop a unique values based solution for group health insurance.
Any business with two or more employees that is a member of any Hamilton County Chamber will be eligible to participate. The program will offer eight customized health benefit plans, (four Point of Service plans and four high-deductible, HSA-qualified plans) with multiple pharmacy rider options. All plans will be offered exclusively to chamber member businesses at a 5% discounted
rate. Groups with 51 or more eligible employees will have the opportunity to offer a PPO-type network option.
Additionally, specialty products (dental, vision, life and disability) offered on a contributory and voluntary basis will be available through United Healthcare at discounted rates. We will also offer a limited medical (“mini-med”) program through Companion Life which enables part-time, seasonal and contract (1099) employees the opportunity to purchase employee benefits.
Any licensed and appointed insurance agent that is a member of a Hamilton County Chamber will be able to request quotes and participate in the program.
Please join us for refreshments at an informational meeting to learn the details of this opportunity. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6th from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at The Mansion at Oak Hill.
This event is open to members of all six Hamilton County Chambers and all independent insurance agents. Reservations can be made at any Hamilton County Chamber prior to May 5th.
