Fishers Chamber Now Accepting Nominations for 8th Annual Pillar Awards
FISHERS,
Ind.
, June 17, 2009 – The Fishers Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 8th annual Pillar Awards; Celebrating Business Excellence. Nominations will be accepted until July 17. The awards will be presented on October 21 at the Pillar Awards luncheon. The four categories in which nominations will be accepted are Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Emerging Growth and Design Appeal.
“I am continually impressed with the way our businesses support the community and one another. Every resident, employee and student in our community is encouraged to recognize the businesses that excel in areas such as customer service, community pride and economic enhancement. That’s what the Pillar Awards are all about,” said Christi Wolf, president and CEO of the Fishers Chamber of Commerce.
Started in 2001, the purpose of the Pillar Awards is to celebrate success, to share best practices and to encourage increased commercial and industrial activity. Nominations should be faxed to the Fishers Chamber of Commerce at 578-1097. Nomination forms can also be found at the Fishers Chamber of Commerce office, located in the Fishers Train Station.
